7 painless ways to add plants this week
Hitting 30 plants a week is easier than it sounds when you stop thinking in terms of meals and start thinking in terms of add-ons. Here are seven of the lowest-effort wins.
1. Seed your breakfast
A tablespoon of mixed seeds on porridge or yoghurt adds 3–4 plants in one go — chia, flax, pumpkin, sunflower.
2. Keep frozen berries
They count exactly the same as fresh, never go off, and turn any breakfast into two or three extra plants.
3. Swap the bean
Making chilli or a stew? Use a mixed bean tin instead of one type. Instant variety.
4. Herbs are plants
Fresh basil, coriander, parsley, mint, dill — each one counts. A garnish is a free point.
5. Trade white for wholegrain
Brown rice, wholewheat pasta, barley, freekeh — each is a distinct plant, and they’re more filling too.
6. Snack on a mix
A small handful of mixed nuts is four or five plants versus one.
7. Photograph your plate
Not sure what counts? Snap it in the app and let the AI Buddy tally the plants for you — then log the ones you’d have missed.
Small add-ons, logged consistently, are how the ring fills. Pick two from this list this week and see where you land.
